Benson supports Community Nursing and Community Therapies providers through standardised benchmarking, operational insight and peer comparison using data derived from EPR, ESR and eRoster systems. The programme enables organisations to benchmark internally across teams and externally against participating NHS community providers using a consistent operational framework.
Standardised operational benchmarking across NHS community services
Benchmarking within community health services has historically been difficult due to fragmented operational systems, inconsistent coding structures and a lack of standardised community metrics. Workforce, activity and operational datasets are often disconnected across EPR, ESR and eRoster systems, making objective comparison between teams and organisations challenging.
The Benson Community Benchmarking Programme standardises these datasets into a consistent operational framework, supporting NHS providers to benchmark productivity, workforce utilisation, demand, caseload and operational performance both internally and externally against participating community peer organisations.
