Benson Health was established in 2012 with the aim of developing intelligent, purposeful tools for community care organizations. Our mission has always been to empower Informatics departments by allowing them to focus on essential tasks such as systems architecture, data quality, and compliance reporting.

Our journey began in Public Health Nursing, expanding over time to Community Health and Mental Health. We initially developed demand forecasting solutions to optimize team-level workforce planning using iterative Excel models tailored to each organization’s needs.

Responding to customer feedback, we moved into data analytics and benchmarking. This allowed us to standardize data models across service environments and help providers validate their services with external benchmarks for the first time.

After a 4-year pilot and live trial, we launched the Benson App – a first-of-its-kind reporting platform for community care providers. This app offers a centralized place for providers and commissioners to access and interact with reports, promoting data-driven decision-making.

In 2023, we launched the new online Benson community App, revolutionizing the way providers achieve future cost savings, foster innovation, and guide workforce development for our NHS provider network.
